i jux finished reading this book ytd.
i really love books written by cecelia ahern.
this story is meaningful...
it's abt a policeman telling a little boy in the interrogation room abt a guy involved in another case.
this guy is always fighting wid time to complete his work assignments...fighting to climb up the a higher position.all his time are spent on work.
as he does that, he neglected his family.
by the time he realized this, he decided to drive home at the fastest speed...
but fell off the cliff and died.
however, before he died, he managed to eat a pill which allows him to be "cloned" for a moment
so "the other him" managed to spend some time wid the wife, leaving the family with another child.
at the very last chapter there's two paragraphs which i found meaningful.
1. Time is more precious than money,more precious than anything. You can never earn more time. Once an hour goes by, a week, a month , a year, you'll never get them back.
2. Enough time gives us warn; when our time is gone, it leaves us cold. Time is more precious than gold, more precious than diamonds, more preciouc than oil or any valuable treasures. It is time that we do not have enough of; it is time that causes the war within our hearts, and so we must spend it wisely. Time cannot be packaged and ribboned and left under trees for christmas morning. Time can't be given. But it can be shared.
